- Termination of an employment contract is prohibited during an employee’s maternity leave.
- A minimum of 50% of the employee’s salary must be paid by the employer during maternity leave.
- One hour a day of breast-feeding is permitted for 6 months following the birth.
- Renewable employment and self-employment permits are issued for expatriates on a 5- or 10-year basis.
